What is Surveylens?
The Surveylens Technology
Surveylens uses patent-pending camera coordinator/image server technology to control
thousands of cameras and viewers.
Possible Surveylens Uses
Surveylens Capabilities
The Surveylens technology allows for the comprehensive monitoring of
thousands of cameras. When an incident occurs, the critical questions are "What happened?"
and "How did this incident happen?"
Surveylens allows a viewer to display the relevant cameras when an incident is occurring. Motion can activate and deactivate cameras. Cameras can dynamically pan and tilt to focus on an incident as it occurs using the image server. If multiple incidents are occurring at once, all the relevant cameras will detect and store the incident sequences.
Image quality can be dynamically adjusted by the image server. If there are no incidents being recorded, image quality can be set low. Once an incident is being recorded, the image quality can be increased to the highest level.
When an incident occurs, alarms can be generated to security personnel or a server. Incidents can be logged and catalogued according to specified rules.
Thousands of viewers can view the same image. The surveillance images can be viewed in proprietary applications, or in familiar browser applications such as Netscape and Internet Explorer.
Digital signature key technology or other technology can be employed to verify that an image was not altered after it was initially captured.
